The panel deals with the implications of Blockchain in Intellectual Property Law. In particular it will address the issue of Blockchain-based copyright ownership databases and the conflict between immutability of records v. copyright law. At the same time, it will deal with how to preserve trust in “Smart con- tracts” as a new way of commercialization of IP.
